We are AMAZING! Mother nature hit us with a downpour, wind and debris that wiped out our beach on Sunday. Mahalo to everyone who helped move our canoes to save them in the dark pouring rain that evening. Mahalo to all of the helpful groups that came out again on Monday, and the rest of this week, to re-position canoes, dig a few out of the sand and begin the daunting clean up process.
Today a phenominal example of Lokahi took place! Everyone coming together, working hard, side by side and pitching in to heal our grounds and club after the destruction. Mahalo to all of you!! Mahalo to Remi, Damon, Vanessa and Berney for orgainizing todays event. Mahalo to our 70's Wahine's and Eddie who brought food to share.
Be very proud Kihei Canoe Club! With smiles on everyone's faces, from our Juniors to our seniors, our team spirit shines! Kihei Canoe Club Rocks!
