ScholarshipsKihei Canoe Club Youth Paddler
In keeping with its vision to
support Mauis youth, Kihei Canoe Club is offering at least three
scholarships, each for $1,000, to support youth paddlers goals of
accessing post-high school education.
Applicants need to:
- Graduate from high school on Maui
- Have paddled with Kihei Canoe Club during high
- Be a current KCC member
- Be 21 years old or younger when they apply for the
- Provide documentation of acceptance at an institution
of higher learning (community college, four-year college, university, or
trade/vocational school) with their application.
Scholarship recipients are expected to use this
award to help fund post-high school education. Each scholarship winner will be
required to perform service to Kihei Canoe Club prior to the disbursement of

Saturday, August 30, 2014, to be considered for funding for the 2014
